Campagnola Advisers has always supported various initiatives in favor of the less fortunate and in social work, including Progetto Abbracci: a nonprofit volunteer and social promotion association that supports initiatives aimed at helping less fortunate children and adults, in Italy and around the world.
Progetto Abbracci is a nonprofit, free, nonpartisan and nondenominational association. It pursues aims of social solidarity and promotes solidarity interventions and initiatives of a humanitarian nature directed exclusively to people in particular state of need without distinction of race or color with particular reference to children.
Progetto Abbracci’s mission is to work to alleviate immediate difficulties in the lives of those most in need and to build significant and lasting changes in the lives of children and adolescents.
Project Hugs’ vision is a world without inequality, where everyone has the opportunity to access basic goods and in particular where all children have access to education, which “is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world” (cit.).
The values that inspire the Association’s work are transparency, the spirit of collaboration, and integrity: we use resources efficiently and with the utmost transparency towards donors; we collaborate with multiple parties with whom we share methods and values; we apply the highest levels of moral and behavioral honesty to protect the name and activity of the Association.
The “No Name for Social ETS” Association was established on July 19, 2024; the initiative is promoted by CIS spa and Interporto Campano spa together with a group of about 25 individuals, including companies, entrepreneurs, managers and professionals, aims, among others, to intervene in disadvantaged areas by selecting and supporting effective projects in the field of educational, cultural and moral training of young people in socio-economic distress; and then also preventing school dropout and the development of youth deviance, supporting vocational training and job placement, and promoting and supporting entrepreneurship and self-entrepreneurship with the purpose of social promotion.
The distinctive feature of the Association is not to limit itself to “occasional” commitments, but to support in the medium to long term the development of projects. Consistently, the ways of participation in the association are also aimed at ensuring multi-year commitments by members. Priority areas of intervention are social risk areas such as, for example, the Scampia and Ponticelli neighborhoods in Naples.
The Association is already planning to strengthen certain initiatives already being implemented in Scampia, taken care of by the MilleColori Volunteer Association and the CELUS Association. The Millecolori Association and CELUS already have several projects underway including after-school programs at the Millecolori Center, after-school programs at the rectory Santa Maria della Speranza rectory, the Millecolori Choir and the 4 Talents Project.
